Christmas is well and truly a distant memory and now we’re into the new year with a whole range of holidays ready to be celebrated. First up, Valentine’s Day and I’m here to help you celebrate it with your baby.
My first tip for celebrating Valentine’s Day with a baby is to write them a card or a letter.
It’s a beautiful tradition to start that can be applied to all of the holidays and will be such a fun thing for them to read when they get older. A card that explains what they’re currently doing and loving, how you’re feeling and where you’re at is a great way to cement a moment in time. It’s scary just how quickly you can forget what happened when (with everything going on, you can’t blame your brain for skipping over a few details now and then!) so having these snapshots of time will be a blessing in years to come.

Secondly, make a plan to take some pictures! Sure, candid shots are great when they’re actually taken, but think like Tyra, create a moment and you’ll end up with pictures to cherish forever.
Thirdly, buy them a cute treat. February is such a miserable time of year in the UK, so having a treat to look forward to playing with with your baby is incredibly important. Anything to get you through the wet and dark days is a saviour.
